DEI INSTITUTE 2022
HECA is pleased to announce a new offering, centered around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The DEI Institute offers participants vocabulary, information, insights, and guidance to expand their understanding as well as strategies for structuring their professional practices in more equitable ways. IECs will have the opportunity to engage in learning, thinking, and discussion about their roles in combating systemic racism and providing skillful counseling for students from traditionally underrepresented groups.
Below are the dates and topics of each session. Participants who complete the institute will earn Professional Development Points (PDPs) for membership renewal and be acknowledged at the Annual HECA Conference for their continued work toward equity and access.
