Time To Renew Your HECA Membership!

The 2010 Membership renewal deadline is March 1, 2010. 

To renew your membership, please follow the instructions below.  Print this page for reference.

  1. Log into your HECA member account.  Use the email HECA has on file for you (check the Directory if you are unsure) and your HECA password. If this is the first time you have logged in, or you receive a message that the system doesn't recognize your password, reset your password by clicking on the "Forgot password" link in the log in box, and following the system's instructions.
  2. After logging in, click on the "View Profile" link. The link will appear under your name in the upper right hand corner of the screen.
  3. Click on the grey button that says "Renew Until 1 March 2011."
  4. Update your profile. The system will ask if you wish to update your profile.  Click yes. To make changes to your profile information, click on the Edit Profile button. Be sure to answer the required HECA standards and Ethics and Conference attendance questions. After you are done, click on the "Next" button at the bottom of the page to proceed to payment.  
  5. Enter your credit card information. Important: The name on the credit card must exactly match the member name on file for you in the HECA system. Any differences, such as using a card with a different name, will prevent your payment from being accepted by the system.  HECA no longer accepts monthly payments.

System access problems? The system is optimized for the following Internet browsers: Mozilla FireFox 3.0 or higher and Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher. If you have trouble logging in, or you find it difficult to read the site, the most likely cause is that you are using an older Internet browser.  Updating to an optimized version should solve any access problems.

Note: After you have paid your 2010 dues, the Renewal button in your profile will read "Renew Until March 2012."  At present, HECA is only accepting dues for 2010. Please do not pay your 2011 dues until next year.
